The SV-1011 Strain Viewer is a polariscope suitable for a qualitative inspection of residual strain. Large-field, vertical light path.

Principle of operation:

In clear and translucent polymers and glass, strain appears as a colourful fringe pattern. Quantitative measurements can also be obtained for many applications with an optional compensator.

In production, this simple test can quickly identify defective parts and alert operators to adjust process parameters.

The procedure is non-destructive and can be used on flat and curved samples.

Available with circular or plane polarization (Please specify).
