The laser double image collimator system (LDIS-100) is used to measure angular separation of the secondary image from the primary image on windshield in dedicated position.
ECE R43 rev.4 Section 9.3.1.2
LDIS-100 is a computer-assisted system to measure secondary image. The windscreen is mounted between the collimator and telescope. The user enters the highest allowed deviation angle in minutes, and the system measures the distance between the primary and secondary images. The system will prepare the report and hard copy can be taken if required.
LDIS-200: Fully automated secondary image separation tester:
- Scanning function finds the maximum separation in windscreen A and B area.
- No operator involvement; the system moves the laser source automatically.
- Secondary image separation angle measurement from different angles in the camera area.
