The SV-1000/2000/3000 Strain Viewer is a polariscope suitable for inspection of residual strain.It can be set up horizontally or vertically.

Principle of operation:

In clear and translucent polymers, the strains appear as a colourful fringe patterns. Quantitative measurements can also be obtained for many applications with an optional compensator.

In production, this simple test can quickly identify defective parts and alert opera- tors to adjust process parameters..
