UV radiation chamber
EN ISO 12543-4 method A and EN 1096-3
Used for:
Simulated solar radiation methods
The purpose of this test is to determine whether exposure of laminated glass or coated glass to solar radiation over an extended period of time produces any appreciable change in their properties. The change in its properties is judged by a change in luminous transmittance and the occurrence of bubbles, delamination, haze and cloudiness, or, in case of coated glass, in in light transmittance and solar transmittance of the coated glass as well as a reduction of the infrared reflectance in the case of low emissivity coatings
Conforms to:
EN ISO 12543-4 method A and EN 1096-3
Technical characteristics:
Temperature of radiation area: 45±5°C
Radiation resource: 16 lamps of 300W Osram ultra-vitalux
Maximum amount of specimens : 9 pieces
Size of the glass sample: 300 x 300mm
